VALENCIA, Calif., July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) announced that Novacap Inc., a Company reported as part of its Dover Technologies business segment, has acquired Syfer Technology Ltd., a UK manufacturer of specialty ceramic electronic components. Novacap Inc. manufactures multilayer ceramic capacitors, with headquarters in Valencia, California. Syfer is headquartered in Norwich, England and makes surface mount capacitors, EMI filters, and planar arrays.

Commenting on the acquisition, Dr. Andre Galliath, President of Novacap, said, "This brings together two companies with the technology and expertise to provide the broadest offering, worldwide, of Application Specific Multilayer Capacitors (ASMC).
