Heil Environmental, a Subsidiary of Dover Corporation, Acquires Bayne Machine Works

NEW YORK, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Heil Environmental Industries, Ltd., a Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) subsidiary, has acquired Bayne Machine Works, Inc., located in Greenville, South Carolina. Bayne is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic lift systems utilized in the waste industry. Bayne's patented rack and pinion rotary actuator is unique in the industry.

Jimmy Bayne, the founder of Bayne Machine Works who will remain as President of the company, added, "With the financially strong, growth-oriented ownership that Dover and Heil provide, Bayne Machine Works will be better positioned to move quickly in meeting the needs of the waste industry."

Heil is the world's largest manufacturer of refuse collection bodies, with manufacturing facilities located in Fort Payne, Ala., Phoenix, Ariz., Tishomingo, Miss., and overseas in Scotland. The company, established in 1901, produces a full line of collection vehicles, including rear loaders, front loaders, automated vehicles and recycling bodies.
